The FXTST26S2700 heat sensor is an ATEX-certified fire detector assembly built around the DAF FENWAL 27121-000 single-thread model. Designed for hazardous locations, this unit features a durable stainless steel detector, a brass nipple, and an aluminium junction box finished in its original aluminium color. The junction box includes two 3/4 inch NPT cable inlets and is supplied complete with terminals and a stainless steel bracket for wall fixing. The sensor functions with an alarm contact that is normally open and closes in the event of an alarm. It holds UL and FM certifications as fire detector equipment alongside comprehensive ATEX and IECEx certifications for explosive atmospheres, supporting temperature classes T6 (up to plus 70 degrees C ambient) and T5 (up to plus 85 degrees C ambient) with an IP66 ingress protection rating.
