The BFI Automation 5182-2030-10 is a fibre optic cable X-IR designed for ATEX zone 1 and high-temperature applications. Spanning an approximate stretched length of 3 meters, this component is built for the detection of flames in the VIS and IR spectral range of light between the SKL and OE-converter in hazardous EX areas. It features a mounted multi-core buffered fibre equipped with strain relief and kink protection, housed in a high-strength double lock-joint DIN-Agraff stainless steel protection hose outer sheathing. This ready-to-use fibre optic probe pairs with the scanner head SKL (part-no. 6050-9010-00). It delivers an operating temperature range of -60 to +300°C, a spectral transmission of 400 to 2400 nm, an IP 68 mounted type of protection, a maximum bending radius of 150 mm, and a maximum permissible suspension of 0.5 m.
