The Dekoron 1826-60830 is an 8-pair thermocouple extension cable designed for reliable industrial instrumentation and communication applications. Featuring 16 AWG solid KX conductors insulated with 15 mil FR-PVC, each pair includes an individual aluminum/polyester shield and an 18 AWG 7-strand tinned copper pair drain wire. A communication wire and a clear polyester binder wrap the core, supplemented by an overall aluminum/polyester shield, a 20 AWG 7-strand tinned copper overall drain wire, and an overall clear polyester wrap. The assembly is protected by a 60 mil yellow FR-PVC inner jacket, a galvanized interlocked armor (ILA), and a final 50 mil yellow FR-PVC outer jacket. This 300V UL PLTC/ITC rated cable delivers robust mechanical and electrical protection for demanding environments.
