The Dekoron 1836 is a 600V ICEA rated instrument wire designed with a 1 TR configuration featuring 14 AWG 7-strand bare copper conductors. It includes a 15 mil flame-retardant PVC and 5 mil nylon insulation, paired with a 16 AWG 7-strand tinned copper drain wire. For signal protection, the cable utilizes an overall aluminum/polyester shield. The core is protected by a 45 mil black flame-retardant PVC inner jacket, a galvanized steel wire armor for mechanical durability, and an outer 50 mil black flame-retardant PVC jacket.
