The Dekoron 1853-686RR is a 1 pair instrumentation cable designed for industrial control and communication applications. It features a 16 AWG 7-strand bare copper conductor insulated with 15 mil flame-retardant PVC, alongside an 18 AWG 7-strand tinned copper drain wire. For protection against electrical interference, the cable includes an overall aluminum/polyester shield. The core is protected by a 35 mil black flame-retardant PVC jacket, followed by a steel wire armor (SWA) layer for mechanical robustness, and finished with an outer 40 mil black flame-retardant PVC jacket.
