Featuring automatic probe recognition and adjustable sensitivity for various material sound damping, it provides versatile measurement capabilities. The unit offers a steel measuring range of 0.5 to 400 mm and a sound velocity measuring range of 100 to 19,999 m/s, depending on the selected probe. Note that the probe is not included in the delivery range. Users benefit from convenient clear-text user-guidance and variable display modes, including standard display, difference value, and minimum value, complemented by display-background illumination and limit value indication with an alarm mode. Units are switchable between mm and inch, with switchable resolution of 0.1 or 0.01. Housed in a splash-proof IP 54 enclosure with a shock-absorbing protective rubber holster and pop-up stand, the device operates on commercially available AA batteries with long battery life.
