The Karl Deutsch 1076.902 Wall Thickness Gauge ECHOMETER is designed for measuring wall thickness and sound velocity. It features automatic probe recognition and allows adjustment even with unknown sound velocities from 300 to 19999 m/s. The unit offers a measuring range of 0.5 to 400 mm in steel, depending on the selected probe. Note that a probe is not included in the delivery range and the device cannot be operated without one. For optimal viewing, it includes user-guidance in clear text, variable display modes—such as standard display, difference values, minimum value, and limit value indication with alarm mode—and a display-background illumination. The gauge features Windows-like data storage for up to 9999 results organized in files, graphic representation, data output to a PC or printer, adjustable sensitivity, and switchable mm/inch units with adjustable resolution. Built into a splash-proof IP 54 housing with a shock-absorbing protective rubber holster and pop-up stand, it runs on standard AA batteries with a long lifetime. The package includes a transport case with foam insert, instruction manual, 100 ml ECHOTRACE couplant, USB PC cable with driver CD, and 'iCom' PC software compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11.
