Additionally, it supports serial trace for up to 4 lanes via a serial preprocessor, reaching recording speeds up to 6.25 gigabits per second per lane for 3 lanes and 5.00 gigabits per second per lane for 4 lanes. Operating the LA-2521 requires a compatible trace preprocessor or Nexus adapter, a PowerDebug X50, PowerDebug PRO, or PowerDebug II module, and TRACE32 software DVD 2021/02 or newer. The unit can also be extended using a mixed-signal probe (LA-2500).
