The Oppermann KRM-X-2 0.6 is a 24V AC/DC channel smoke detector engineered for the early detection of smouldering fires and fires that produce smoke. Operating on the stray light principle, this unit features alarm threshold tracking to ensure an extended operating standing time. It is supplied with an included 0.6 m removal pipe (600 mm long air duct removal pipe) and measures 172 x 271 x 85 mm without the pipe. Operational status is indicated via LEDs for smoke alarm, lack of airflow, system fault, and operational readiness, alongside a 2-digit LED display in plain text providing continuous contamination monitoring. The relay drops off if contamination exceeds 70 percent. It includes a potential-free switching and opener contact for the smoke alarm relay, a button for unlocking and functional testing, and allows testing with test spray without opening the lid. Designed with three M16 screw connections and an IP 65 protection class, the KRM-X-2 0.6 operates within an ambient temperature range of -20 to +50°C, accommodates a flow rate of 1-20m/s, carries VdS approval G 219053, and corresponds to data sheet No. 41350.
