The unit features a multiple semiconductor sensor with an adjustable spectral sensitivity spanning the UV to IR ranges. It operates continuously and includes automatic gain control (AGC), automatic frequency control (AFC), and a self-check function executed once per second. Housed in a robust aluminum enclosure finished in RAL5010 with an IP 65 protection rating, this sensor supports ATEX Zone 2 hazardous locations and achieves SIL3 certification when combined with compatible Flame Amplifiers 3001, 3001D, and 3001S.
