The Citel DLA-06D3 is a 2-pole combination surge arrestor utilizing diode-gas arrestor technology, specifically designed for RS422 applications. Classified under arrestor types C2 and D1, this plug-in device features a nominal voltage (Un) of 6 V and a C3 protection level (Up) of 20 V. It provides a D1 lightning impulse current (Iimp) of 5 kA using a 10/350µs waveform, a C2 nominal discharge current (In) of 5 kA, and a maximum discharge current (Imax) of 20 kA based on an 8/20µs waveform. Engineered for high-speed data integrity, the unit offers a capacitance (C) of less than 25 pF and a rapid response time of under 1 ns. The DLA-06D3 has installation dimensions of 2/3 TE and includes no remote signaling contact.
