The Citel DLA-12D3 is a 2-pole combined surge arrester utilizing diode and gas discharge tube technology, specifically designed for RS485 and RS232 applications. This pluggable device features a nominal voltage of 12 V and provides a C3 protection level of 30 V. It is classified as an arrester of type C2 and D1, handling a D1 lightning impulse current of 5 kA (10/350 µs), a C2 nominal discharge surge current of 5 kA (8/20 µs), and a maximum discharge surge current of 20 kA (8/20 µs). With a capacitance of less than 25 pF and a fast response time of under 1 ns, the DLA-12D3 ensures efficient signal protection. The unit measures 2/3 TE with pluggable installation, includes no remote signaling contact, and weighs 0.06 kg per piece.
