The Comav VSD250 is a star valve featuring a rectangular flange and direct discharge design, serving as a replacement star valve NS serial 2203.02. Built for handling plastic granules, this unit is constructed with a G25 quality cast iron body and covers. It includes an AISI 304 type "C" stainless steel rotor equipped with eight totally beveled blades. The rotor is mounted on watertight bearings complete with dust seals, as well as ring nuts for adjustment and locking. Drive operation is handled via a chain transmission that includes pinions and a protective casing. Operationally, the VSD250 provides a capacity of 8 liters per lap with a filling coefficient of 70%.
