The Temptek CG-2A is a 2 ton capacity air-cooled portable chiller designed for indoor operation, providing reliable temperature control for industrial processes. This unit operates on 230/3/60 or 460/3/60 voltage and features an air condensed refrigeration circuit utilizing an environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant, a scroll compressor, hot gas bypass capacity control, and a brazed plate evaporator with stainless steel plates. The integral water circuit includes a 3/4 HP stainless steel pump with an ODP motor, an auto low flow bypass, and a 7.5 gallon insulated non-ferrous reservoir with a sight tube. Control is managed via the TempTek CG microprocessor instrument with an LCD display, digital pressure readouts, and Modbus RTU RS485 communications. Built into a NEMA 1 control cabinet with galvanized enclosure panels, the CG-2A includes a 15-foot power cord and is mounted on casters for mobility.
