The TAPCON 230 is an automatic voltage regulator designed for the regulation, control, and monitoring of voltage power transformers. It features a compact housing design measuring 218 mm x 324 mm x 150 mm, which includes the mating plug. The unit is equipped with a central processor unit, a power supply ranging from 85-265 V AC/DC, an auxiliary voltage supply of 110 V DC for digital inputs, and an RJ45 service interface. For measurement, it includes 100 VAC voltage measurement and 1 A or 5 A current measurement with an output load of less than 1 VA. It supports parallel operation for up to 16 transformers via galvanic isolation using CAN, featuring tap synchronization and circulating reactive current minimization. Additional hardware includes 16 digital inputs, 16 digital relay outputs, 4 adjustable analog inputs, and flexible control system connectivity supporting multiple communication protocols and interfaces.
