The Wilden Almatec CXM50FES is an air-driven double diaphragm pump from the CXM Series, designed for higher performance and enhanced safety. This pump features a conductive polyethylene body and seats, FDA-approved carbon-filled PE resin, and an EPDM diaphragm with an integrated piston. It includes stainless steel balls, EPDM seals, and air-side chambers and a central block made of conductive PE. Supplied with an exhaust silencer, it utilizes the Perswing anti-stall design air distribution system, operating on dry, unlubricated air filtered to 5μm. The bolted and pressure disc assembly is constructed from 1.4301 (AISI 304) stainless steel for improved force distribution and sealing. It features a 3/4" NPT female horizontal suction connection and vertical reference, a 1/4" BSP air connection, and complies with ATEX 94/9/EG and CE Ex II 2 GDc IIB T70°C standards. It delivers a maximum flow rate of 3.5 m3/h on H2O at 0 bar and 7 bar of air, a maximum dry suction height of 2.0 mCe, a primed suction height of 9.0 mCe, and a maximum permissible suction pressure of 0.7 bar. Note that EPDM is not FDA-certified, and PE pumps have a maximum pumped fluid temperature limit of 70°C subject to chemical compatibility.
