ZRD 480.1-76-GC rotary valve by Coperion

The Coperion ZRD 480.1-76-GC rotary valve is engineered for handling free-flowing, dry, and abrasive coal dust with a minimum bulk density of 400 kg/m³ and a design particle size of 0.5 mm. It achieves an output of 30,000 kg/h under pressureless discharge conditions with a product column as an under silo. The unit features a GG cast iron housing with a 100µm DUROCHROM hard-chromed housing hole, hard-chromed GG cast iron side covers, and a steel rotary wheel providing a 76 dm³ rotary wheel volume. Driven by an SEW helical gear motor (1.5 kW, 25 rpm, IE3, IP 55) via a completely assembled chain drive with a 1:2 ratio, it includes a galvanised steel motor plate and aluminium chain guard. Designed for ATEX zone applications, the valve is rated for Zone 20 (II1D) inside and Zone 2/22 (II3GD) outside, featuring explosion pressure shock resistance of 10 bar and suitable for gas classes IIA and IIB and dust class IIIC.
